Welcome to the Instructor 1 course. We will be spending the next several weeks going over material learned from the book. You will be transitioning from student to instructor. You will learn how people think and learn, how to account for those differences in your teaching and come up with your own teaching style along the way, all within the teaching objectives and needs of the AHJ.
There are 10 chapters in this course. Each chapter has its own quiz and test. There are a limited number of retakes so be aware of that before you begin. Each week we will meet to review the chapters and have open discussion about the content. There will be assignments along the way as well.
At the end of the course you will have given a short class teaching of about 5 minutes in length as well as the final teaching which will last 15-20 minutes. More to follow on these talks. You will be given ample time to prepare.
