The Pre-Service Firefighter I & II program provides students with the knowledge and hands-on skills required to start a career in the fire service. Training follows NFPA 1001 and 1072 standards and covers fire behaviour, PPE/SCBA, fire ground operations, rescue techniques, hazardous materials, and live fire training. Graduates are prepared to challenge OFM certification exams and pursue careers as professional or volunteer firefighters.
