I'm Kody Macon, your lead instructor for the District 9 Fire Officer Strategies and Tactics (FOST) course taught at the Highlander Fire Protection District Headquarters. When you arrive at the fire house park in the rear and come in the doors by that parking lot. You are only required to attend 1 day each week, there is no certain order each week as the class will be the same all 3 days. This is your first adventure into the rewarding world of formal leadership whether you are wanting to be a chauffeur, sergeant, company officer, or chief officer this is your foundation. Our instructors, evaluators, and proctor have been chosen selectively for your greatest success and from seasoned firefighters, and officers. Do not hesitate to reach out to any of us and network with those in class and your instructors.
