The Fire Officer II course serves as the educational foundation for certification as a fire services officer. The officer is expected to supervise multi-unit/agency responses, complete employee appraisals, assist in the development of an organizational plan, and enforce policies and procedures. Students will participate in the budget process, prepare written reports and provides information on administration, safety, current trends and technology, record keeping, and the functions of management. The course is geared to the managing fire officer who will be more engaged in working with other organizations and groups.

The blended course delivery consists of a pre-class that begins 30 days prior to the in-class session, followed by a 5 day in-class session. If there are any questions let me know cgaylor@stratford.ca
