Welcome to the Pennsylvania State Fire Academy Couse Fire and EMS Administrative Officer. It is presented in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO) and the financial support of the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED). This course outlines modern management techniques, to include managing the business of the organization, board management and governance, managing human resources, risk management, and dealing with public and elected officials. The course will be three 8 hour days (one day each month for three consecutive months). During the time between classes there will be homework assignments.
